Q. Where can I Buy Scentsy?
A. You can purchase Scentsy on my website, purchase Scentsy over the phone
by calling me at 281.910.9645 or you can purchase Scentsy at one of my parties or events.
Q. How can I Buy Scentsy?
A. Credit card, Cash or Check. If you Buy Scentsy online, you will be
required to pay with a credit card through our secure check-out system.
Q. How long will our Candle Bars last?
A. Scentsy bars will last a minimum of 60 - 80 hours. It depends on the strength of the fragrance and how strong you personally like your scents. Open Windows, humidifiers, and house fans may alter the time the scents last.
Q. What kind of Light Bulbs do Scentsy Products use?
A. Deluxe warmers use a 25 watt Bulb. Plug-in warmers use a 15 watt Bulb. Mid-sized warmers use a 20 watt bulb. I offer all of my clients free light-bulbs for life. Contact me if you need one!!
Q. Can Scentsy wax be used in a Non-Scentsy Warmer?
A. Of course, but I wouldn't recommend it. Scentsy's warmers are made specifically for Scentsy wax bars and they are set to reach a set temperature. They get just warm enough to release the scent into the air without releasing any chemicals. This is one reason Scentsy Warmers and Scentsy Bars are much safer than regular Candles.
Q. What kind of wax is used when making our Candle Bars?
A. Scentsy uses a food-grade petroleum based wax. Scentsy chose this wax because of its superior scent loading ability, melting point and firmness. No wick, no match, no flame, no soot, no smoke, and no wax evaporation!
Q. What is food grade petroleum wax?
A. Scentsy's food-grade petroleum wax is the same they spray on apples
in the grocery stores to give them shine.
Q. What type of oil does Scentsy use in their candles?
A. Scentsy uses key fragrance oil which is the highest grade of oil before processing.
Q. Do I use a whole candle bar at a time?
A. One Scentsy Bar comes in a clamshell with nine break-a-part cubes.
Choose your favorite candle bar scent, break off one or two cubes and place in our warmer. Next, turn on your warmer...relax and enjoy. You can add more cubes as time goes on or can switch out scents to enjoy another scent.
Q. How hot does the wax get when warmed?
A. The wax temperature is very low, just above body temperature. The wax never gets hot enough to burn anyone since we use a low-watt light bulb.
Q. How do I clean the wax out of the warmer?
A. While the wax is warmed you can pour it out into a disposable container, back into its original container, or simply wipe the warmer with some paper towels. You may also place the warmer lid in the freezer for 5-10 minutes minimum and the wax should easily slide out.
Q. How much is shipping?
A. Shipping is always free for home and basket parties with $150 or more
in total retail sales. Direct ship orders to individual customers will incur a
shipping rate of 10%. ***Shipping to Hawaii or Alaska is 10% for all
party-orders, with a 20% shipping charge for direct ship orders in those states.
Q. How long until delivery?
A. Approximately 2 to 3 weeks from when the Scentsy Party closes or an order is placed.
Q. Is it worth it to Sell Scentsy?
A. Yes, when you Join Scentsy you are joining one of the fastest growing home-based candle businesses out there. Scentsy offers one of the best compensation plans.
Q. Can I sell online?
A. Yes. Independent Consultants can sell Scentsy products online via their
online Scentsy replicated website or Scentsy-approved external website.
All online advertising must first be approved by corporate. Ebay and Retail
establishment sales are prohibited. Contact me about consultant guidelines
if you have additional questions regarding selling policies.
Q. Can I make my own personal website?
A. Yes! Scentsy Independent Consultants can make their own website, however
all independent websites must be approved by the home office. You will have
access to the Policy and Procedures once you become a consultant. There are
specific details here for you to follow when creating a site.
Q. Can I sell at fairs and events?
A. Yes! Scentsy Independent Consultants are allowed to Sell Scentsy at local events and expos. You can elect to purchase inventory to resale at the events or take orders only. The choice is yours.
Q. Are there any monthly or quarterly sales requirements?
A. The policy to remain an active consultant is you must place at least one order of $150 or more in a three-month period.
Q. How much is a Scentsy Starter Kit?
A. Scentsy Starter Kits are $99 plus shipping and handling ($119 in Canada).
Your Starter kit contains all 80+ scent samples, catalogs, order forms,
business cards, and everything you will need to start your successful
Scentsy Candle Business. This also includes your website for the first three months.
Q. How long does it take to get my Scentsy Starter Kit?
A. Scentsy generally ships starter kits within 72 hours of receiving your
application. Starter Kits are shipped via UPS.
Q. Who do customers write their checks to? Scentsy or the Consultant?
A. Checks need to be made out to the Consultant as we submit all orders online via
our workstations. At home parties, you as the consultant, may ask the guests to write
their checks out to the Hostess, and then the Hostess writes one check out to you the
consultant. For customers
paying by check, payment is made using the Consultant's credit card
or a debit card after the customer's checks clear. Scentsy does not
charge consultants to process credit cards, and accepts VISA, MC, AMEX, and Discover.
Q. Can Hosts carry or save their Host benefits for later use?
A. No. Hosts must use their 1/2 price and free products earned at the time they submit their party or they will lose their benefits. They do not carry over.
Q. When are commission checks issued?
A. Scentsy posts commissions amounts in our work station on the tenth of the month. The commission payments are deposited onto a Scentsy Visa Debit-card, which will be issued to you upon enrollment.
Q. Does Scentsy ship to APOs and FPOs?
A. Presently, Scentsy does not ship to APOs or FPOs, because UPS does not deliver to these.
